The Leave Requests feature is only available to organizations that have licensed the Web Link module and is integrated with leaves in Payroll. The Leave Requests feature facilitates the process for requesting and approving leave by allowing users to enter and submit requests electronically for approval by the designated users, such as building principals, department supervisors, and/or superintendent. Applicable users can tie substitutes to leave requests if needed when approving the leave requests or through a separate option. Once leave requests are approved, they can be quickly selected and brought into a batch of Employee Absences or Pay Period Entries for processing in a Payroll check cycle. Approval paths must be defined and utilized with leave requests.
For organizations that have licensed the Human Resources module, the Leave Requests feature can also be set up to enter and submit requests for approval for family and medical leave, and then once approved, added to the FMLA screen in the Employee File.
The system can be set up to send notification emails to those users who approve leave requests and those who submit requests to track when leave requests are pending approval or have been processed (received final approval or rejected).
