The Leave Request Entry - FMLA option is used to enter leave requests for FMLA into the system. The Leave Request Entry - FMLA option is only enabled for organizations with the Human Resources module licensed and the Allow FMLA Leave Requests field selected on the FMLA tab within the Leave Request Options option in the School Accounting System. Once an FMLA leave request is entered and saved, the leave request must be submitted for approval by the appropriate user(s), as based on the designated FMLA approval path. The Leave Request Entry - FMLA option is also used to edit (and resubmit), cancel, or delete rejected or recalled FMLA leave requests, if needed.
If the system is set up to send notification emails for leave requests (in the Email Manager option in the School Accounting System), upon submitting leave requests in the Leave Request Entry - FMLA option, emails will be sent to the appropriate users for approval as based on the designated FMLA approval path.
Note: In order for the Leave Request Entry - FMLA option to be available in Web Link, a user must be defined with rights to enter leave requests and have the Employee ID field completed (within the User Security option in the School Accounting System).
