The Negotiation Lanes option in Human Resources is used to tie Human Resources to the Negotiations module, if applicable. The Negotiation Lanes option allows a user to define the criteria for each lane on a package in Negotiations, so the system can place employees in the correct lanes based on their degree and additional credit hours (for example, BA + 6 additional credit hours) or position titles (for example, Head Football Coach).
Once the criteria for the lanes are entered within the Negotiation Lanes option, an additional field is available when building the FTE - Hours table within the Salary Schedules option in Negotiations to tell the system to update the lanes from Human Resources.
