Steps
to Add an EndorsementEndorsements is an option available in Human Resources to define the different endorsement areas, subjects, specializations, or assignments that an employee has been approved to instruct or work as stated on the certificate or license. Endorsements can also be used to track other areas of additional information as stipulated on the certificate, such as the Completed State Approved Programs (for Illinois certificates only), Deficiencies (for Nebraska certificates only), Professional Preparation (for South Dakota certificates only), Majors (for South Dakota certificates only), and HOUSSE Highly Qualified Areas (for Wyoming certificates only).

Within the Endorsements option, endorsement types are also defined in order to group the endorsements into categories for sorting and reporting purposes.
Endorsements must first be defined before entering a certificate type for an employee on the Certificates screen in the Employee File.
