Steps to Add a Certificate
TypeCertificate Types is an option available in Human Resources to define the different categories or kinds of certificates that an employee can hold for educational certification/licensure, such as a Teaching Certificate, Educator License, or Administrative Certificate. A few examples of certificate types for the various states are shown below.

Certificate types must first be defined before entering a certificate for an employee on the Certificates screen in the Employee File.
