Certificate Types

Certificate Types is an option available in Human Resources to define the different categories or kinds of certificates that an employee can hold for educational certification/licensure, such as a Teaching Certificate, Educator License, or Administrative Certificate.  A few examples of certificate types for the various states are shown below.

Idaho

Administrator Certificate, Standard Instructional Certificate, Pupil Service Staff Certificate

Illinois

Standard Secondary Teaching Certificate, Initial Elementary Teaching Certificate, Superintendent Administrative Certificate

Iowa

Initial Teacher License, Class B Teacher License, Administrator License

Kansas

Professional Teaching License, Accomplished Teaching License, Conditional Teaching License, Professional School Leadership License

Missouri

Early Childhood Teaching Certificate, Elementary Education Teaching Certificate, Superintendent Administration Certificate

Nebraska

Regular Teaching Certificate, Temporary Teaching Certificate, Provisional Teaching Certificate, Regular Administrative Certificate

North Dakota

Educator's Professional License

South Dakota

Teacher Certificate-1 year, Teacher Certificate-5 year, Teacher Certificate-10 year

Wyoming

Standard Classroom Teacher License, District Superintendent School Administrator License, School Counselor Professional Services License

Certificate types must first be defined before entering a certificate for an employee on the Certificates screen in the Employee File.
