Direct Deposit Banks

Direct Deposit Banks are used only if your school district pays employees, payees, and/or vendors through direct deposit.  A direct deposit bank is defined for each different bank used by the employees, payees, and vendors.  Each direct deposit bank includes the bank’s routing number, which is a unique number assigned by the Federal Reserve to identify the bank and route the funds to the correct location.  Once the direct deposit banks are defined, the banks are then tied to the appropriate employees in the Employee File, payees in the Payee File, and/or vendors in the Vendor File.
