Direct Deposit defined

Direct Deposit is a Check Type available to stipulate the form of payment as being made through direct deposit, in which the money is transferred electronically through the electronic funds transfer system of the Automated Clearing House and governed by the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA).  Direct Deposit can be set up for vendors in Accounts Payable, and for employees and payees in Payroll.
