Note: The instructions below are for completing the Report List option accessed under the Reports Menu on a module's main screen.
From a module's main screen, select the Reports menu, and then Report List for the particular user (for example, "SAS Report List" for a user with an ID of SAS).
The Report List screen will appear listing only the standard and custom reports for the applicable module that the specific user designated to be included in the report list.
Tip: A report is designated to be included in the report list by clicking the Report List button on the Report Printing Options screen.
In the Month field for From and To, enter the month(s) for which to generate the reports. Use the mm/yyyy format or click the down-arrow button to select the desired months. The current month (as based on the computer date) appears as the default but can be changed. When the reports are generated, the months entered here will be used for any month parameters (for example, Processing Month parameter or Beginning Month parameter) that had a value stipulated when the report was added to the report list; refer to the Parameter Settings field (column) for each report to see what parameters are defined to be used in the report list, and if changes are needed, the report would need to be resent (designated again) to the report list after the correct selections have been made.
In the Date field for From and To, enter the dates for which to generate the reports. Use the mm/dd/yyyy format or click the down-arrow button to select the desired dates. The dates for the current month (as based on the computer date) appear as the default but can be changed. When the reports are generated, the dates entered here will be used for any date parameters (for example, Check Date parameter or Entry Date parameter) that had a value stipulated when the report was added to the report list; refer to the Parameter Settings field (column) for each report to see what parameters are defined to be used in the report list, and if changes are needed, the report would need to be resent (designated again) to the report list after the correct selections have been made.
In the Report List section, select the reports in the list to print by clicking the box under the Selected column to the left of the desired report. A checkmark will appear in the box if the report is selected to be printed. The reports that were printed (or exported) the last time this option was completed (by the user) are selected by default. To select all the reports listed on the screen, click the Select All button located above the Report List grid.
Note: To remove a report from the report list, click the Delete button to the left of the desired record; when prompted, click Yes to delete the record.
If desired, enter a sub heading for each of the selected reports by clicking in the Sub Heading field (column) for the report and keying the description to use as the sub heading. The sub heading can be up to 255 characters long. If the Auto Copy Report Choices field is selected within the User Options option, a default sub heading will appear but can be changed.
The Parameter Settings field (column) displays the report and parameter selections defined when the report was added to the report list. The Parameter Settings field cannot be edited, and so if any of the report and/or parameter selections for a report need to be changed, the report would need to be resent (designated again) to the report list after the correct selections have been made.
Print the reports as desired:
To preview the reports on the screen, click the To Screen button.
To print the reports directly to the printer, click the To Printer button.
To export the reports to files, click the Export button and then complete the Export Options as desired
