Rooms (in Fixed Asset Inventory)

Rooms in Fixed Asset Inventory are used in conjunction with buildings (and sites) to give the exact location of the asset.  Rooms are defined for each different room within each building in which fixed assets are located.  Each asset is assigned to the appropriate room location.

Note:  If your organization has licensed the Web Link module, an inventory of the assets in each room can be completed using Web Link by assigning the appropriate rooms to the users responsible for completing the inventory; refer to the Room Inventory Setup and Completion Checklist.
