Note: The instructions below are for deleting a building and all the rooms in the specific building. To delete just one room from a particular building, follow the instructions for changing a building/room.
Steps to Change a Building/Room
From the Human Resources screen, select the Maintenance menu, Positions or Trainings, and then Buildings/Rooms.
At the Buildings/Rooms screen, enter the ID of the building to delete in the Building ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Once the building to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button located at the bottom of the screen; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
Note: If the building, or a room within the specified building, is tied to a position, training event, or workers' compensation injury, the system will not allow it to be deleted, and all the rooms, along with the building, will remain in the data file and be displayed on the screen.
