The Change Descriptions option in General Ledger is used to quickly update or change the descriptions for the account numbers in the Chart of Accounts or the descriptions for the reference pieces in the Reference Files (excluding the Fund File). With the Change Descriptions option, the descriptions can be updated to all be in uppercase or capitalize the first letter in each word, in addition to individually editing the descriptions within a list.
