Requisitions

Requisitions can be entered into Accounts Payable to streamline the requisition process by allowing users to enter their requests for goods or services electronically and submit the requisition for approval by designated users, such as building principals and the superintendent, in order to become purchase orders.  The system can be set up to send notification emails to those users who approve requisitions and those who submit requisitions to track when requisitions are pending approval or have been processed (received final approval or rejected).  Approval trees must be defined and utilized with requisitions.  Also, bids can be tracked for requisitions, and a minimum amount for which bids are entered can be set in the system if needed.

Once requisitions are approved, they can be quickly selected and converted to purchase orders in order to show as encumbrances on the financial reports.
