SPEDFRS Completion ChecklistThe Nebraska SPEDFRS option, which is accessed from within the Payroll module, is used to create a file that can be uploaded for the Supplementary Report of Staff Salaries within the Nebraska Special Education Financial Reporting System.
The first year using the Nebraska SPEDFRS option, the assignment records from the Nebraska Staff Reporting option for employees with an assignment code starting with a 7, I, or S can be transferred into the Nebraska SPEDFRS option, or else the assignment information can be imported from a file for the applicable employees rather than manually keying the information if the Nebraska Staff Reporting option is not utilized within the School Accounting System.
When needed, the report can be generated to calculate the salary and benefit totals and a file can be created to submit the information.
