Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers

The Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option, which is accessed from within the Chart of Accounts in General Ledger, is used to quickly inactivate a group of account numbers.  With the Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option, the account numbers to inactivate can be selected based on a fiscal year end date for which entries were last posted.  After the Inactivate Chart of Account Numbers option is completed, the selected account numbers are inactivated by having the checkmark removed from the Active field in the Chart of Accounts File.
