Note: If a received from has been used in General Ledger, the system will not allow it to be deleted; however, a received from that will no longer be used can be made inactive by removing the checkmark for the Active field within the Received From File. If a received from was defined only with an Entity Role of Received From, it will be completely deleted from the system with this process; however, if the received from had multiple Entity Roles, the ID will remain valid for the other applicable areas and just the Entity Role of Received From will be deleted.
From the General Ledger screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Received Froms.
At the Received Froms screen, enter the ID of the received from to delete in the Received From ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Once the received from to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
