Steps to Add New AccountsThe Add New Accounts option is used in General Ledger to copy a set of account numbers for a specified reference piece and add a new set of account numbers (with zero balances) with a different reference piece to the Chart of Accounts. For example, with the Add New Accounts option, all active account numbers with the object code 210 can be copied and added to the Chart of Accounts with the object code 211. The Add New Accounts option can be used for all reference pieces, including funds.
