A subreport is a type of object that can be added to a custom report in the Report Writer module. A subreport is a report within another report, and is typically used to insert fields that are not within the report group (query) in which the main report is being created. A subreport can be added to any section on a report. Subreports can be formatted, sized, and aligned as desired.
