A unit, which is a type of pay for employees, is an hourly or daily rate paid to employees. During a pay period, the number of units (hours or days) must be entered for each unit employee.
Note: Pay codes defined with Add, Deduction, or Payment In Kind as the Pay Code Type are all considered unit pay codes.
