If this is the first year using the Nebraska Staff Reporting option, complete the Nebraska Staff Reporting Setup Procedures for each applicable employee.

Note: For districts utilizing the Nebraska Staff Reporting option for the second or subsequent years, complete the setup procedures for new employees and, if needed, edit the information for employees included in the Nebraska Staff Reporting option last year.
Step 2: Import Assignment Codes into Nebraska Staff Reporting Option or Edit Existing Assignment Codes, If Needed
Complete the Import Assignment Codes option to import all the valid codes for the assignments that were provided to SUI by the Nebraska Department of Education with the instructions for the Staff Position Assignments report.

If needed, edit the existing assignment codes within the Assignment Codes section of the Nebraska Staff Reporting option.

Step 3: Complete the Nebraska Staff Reporting Option
Complete the Nebraska Staff Reporting option to generate the demographic records and manually input the assignment records for the applicable employees. If desired, a report containing the Staff Position Assignments information can be imported into the Nebraska Staff Reporting option in the School Accounting System; the imported data for the assignment records can then be updated and maintained from year to year.
