Note: The instructions below are for deleting a school type and all the schools included in the school type. To delete just one school from a particular school type, follow the instructions for changing a school.
From the Human Resources screen, select the Maintenance menu, Education, and then Schools.
At the Schools screen, enter the ID of the school type to delete in the School Type ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Once the school type to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button located at the bottom of the screen; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
Note: If a school within the specified school type is being used on the Education screen of the Employee File, the system will not allow it to be deleted and all the schools, along with the school type, will remain in the data file and be displayed on the screen.
