Note: If a checklist is being used in a checklist instance, the system will not allow it to be deleted; however, the checklist (and all the checklist tasks, if desired) can be made inactive by removing the checkmark for the Active field (located under the Checklist Description field). To delete just one checklist task from a particular checklist, follow the instructions for changing a checklist.
From the Human Resources screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Checklists.
At the Checklists screen, enter the ID of the checklist to delete in the Checklist ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Once the checklist to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
