From the Human Resources screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Checklists.
At the Checklists screen, enter the ID of the checklist to change in the Checklist ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Make the desired changes to the checklist.
To add a task to the checklist, complete the blank line (indicated with an asterisk) at the bottom of the Checklist Tasks List.
To remove a task from the checklist, click the Delete button located to the left of the desired task in the Checklist Tasks List; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
Note: If a checklist task is being used in a checklist instance, the system will not allow it to be deleted; however, the task can be made inactive by removing the checkmark for the Active field (located in the last column) to omit the task when creating new checklist instances for the specified checklist.
If the Active field for the checklist was unselected (the checkmark was removed) so the checklist is now inactive, a prompt will appear asking to make the checklist tasks on the checklist inactive as well; click Yes to inactivate the checklist tasks also and then click the Save button.
If the Active field for the checklist was selected (a checkmark appears in the box) so the checklist is now active, a prompt will appear asking to make the checklist tasks on the checklist active as well; click Yes to activate the checklist tasks also and then click the Save button.
After all the changes have been made, click the Save button.
If the ID for the checklist was changed, a prompt will appear verifying whether or not to change the ID or add a new one. To change the ID for the checklist, click the Change button. To not change the ID and revert to use the original ID, click the Revert to Original button. To add a new checklist with the specified ID that is a duplicate of the current checklist, click the Create New button.
If a new task was added to the checklist, a prompt will appear asking to update any open checklist instances with the new task(s); click Yes to add the new task(s) to the applicable open checklist instances (those tied to the particular checklist including one or more tasks with Open as the Task Status), or else click No to only utilize the new task with future checklist instances (any open checklist instances tied to the particular checklist would remain as is).
