Note: If a benefit type is being used for a benefit, the system will not allow it to be deleted; however, a benefit type can be made inactive by removing the checkmark for the Active field within the Benefit Type File.
From the Human Resources screen, select the Maintenance menu, Benefits, and then Benefit Types.
At the Benefit Types screen, enter the ID of the benefit type to delete in the Benefit Type ID field. If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.
Once the benefit type to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
