Benefit Types

Benefit Types are used in Human Resources to group benefits into categories for sorting and reporting purposes.  Examples of benefit types include Annuities, Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, State Retirement, Vision Insurance, and Other.  Benefit types must be defined prior to adding benefits.
