The Employee W2s option in Payroll is used to generate and print the W2 Forms for employees at the end of the calendar year. With the Employee W2s option, W2s can be printed using a laser printer and one of the following formats: 1) two on a page plain paper or blank forms (those with perforations and backer information only); 2) four on a page plain paper or blank forms (those with perforations and backer information only); or 3) pressure seal blank forms. When printing W2s, the system will print the image (boxes) on each of the W2s along with the employee information, and the system can also print the recipient instructions if printing on plain paper.
Within the Employee W2s option, the W2s can be emailed to the employees, if desired, and an electronic file can be created to submit the W2 information to the federal and state government (if applicable).
