Departments (in Human Resources)

Departments in Human Resources are used to classify employee positions into various groups for tracking and reporting purposes, if desired.  Departments may be defined based on the different areas of curriculum within the school district (for example, Math, Music, Science, etc.), or used in combination with the functions from the chart of account numbers (for example, Elementary Department, Middle School Department, High School Department, etc.).
