Note: The following instructions are for use with the Wyoming Staff Member Collection Report option, which is available for Wyoming school districts only, to import the preloaded Employment file obtained from the Wyoming Department of Education.
From the Payroll screen, select the Government Reporting menu and then Wyoming Staff Member Collection Report.
At the Wyoming Staff Member Collection Report screen, select the Options menu, Import, and then Import Employment.
When prompted, click Yes to clear all Employment records and import new records.
At the Open screen, select the correct path (drive and folders) for the location of the preloaded Employment file (from the state) to import from the list that appears. Once the path is specified, select the desired file and click the Open button.
Note: The file that is imported must be in the correct layout as defined by the state.
Once the import is complete, a message will appear in the status bar stating the data was imported successfully, and the imported data will appear on the Employment screen (tab).
If the imported file contains an employee that does not match one in the Employee File as based on the WISE staff ID number, a screen will appear listing the employees with WISE staff ID numbers that do not match or are missing in the Employee File; the employees listed were not imported. To resolve the employees with missing or mis-matched WISE staff ID numbers, bring up the employees within the Employee File and enter their correct WISE staff ID number in the WISE Staff ID custom field and then re-import the file.
