The Lock Batch in Web Link option is only available within the Cash Receipts option in General Ledger for batches created for cash receipts (deposits) entered in Web Link modern experience. The Lock Batch in Web Link option locks a batch so the cash receipts in the locked batch can no longer be changed in Web Link modern experience or additional cash receipts added to the batch.
Note: A locked cash receipt batch can be accessed from within the Cash Receipts option in General Ledger or the Web Link classic experience (and changes can be made to the cash receipts within the locked batch when accessed from either of those locations), while the cash receipts in a locked batch can only be viewed from within the Web Link modern experience.
Tip: If needed, a locked batch can be unlocked from within the Cash Receipts option in General Ledger.
