The Iowa Budget Summary Report option in General Ledger is used to generate the following reports:
Proposed Budget Summary: Utilized when completing the state’s file to certify the new budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Actual Budget Summary: Used to compare the actual year-to-date figures with the budgeted figures for a specified fiscal year, using the same sorts and similar format as the proposed budget summary report.
Monthly Summary: Used to compare the actual balances for the months in a specified fiscal year to the months in the previous year, using the same sorts and similar format as the proposed budget summary report.
