Deleting a Department (in Fixed Asset Inventory)

Note:  If a department is being used, the system will not allow it to be deleted.

• From the Fixed Asset Inventory screen, select the Maintenance menu and then Departments.

• At the Departments screen, enter the ID of the department to delete in the Department ID field.  If the ID is not known, click the down-arrow button or the Find button to select the correct one.

• Once the department to delete is displayed on the screen, click the Delete button; when prompted to delete the record, click Yes.
