Steps To Complete Budget Transfer OptionsThe Budget Transfer Options option is available within the Budgets option in General Ledger and is typically used when working with a new budget. The Budget Transfer Options option is used to transfer the budget figures or actual year-to-date amounts from the current or a previous fiscal year into a budget batch, using the exact amounts or increasing or decreasing the amounts by a certain percentage. The Budget Transfer Options option can also be used to post zero amounts for each account number for easy data entry of the budget figures, if desired. Additional options for the Budget Transfer Options option include bringing in the budget balance amounts from a prior fiscal year or updating the budget figures already entered into a batch.
